The Dorper breed is originally from South Africa and the pure breed required no shearing or Crutching and are non specific grazers and thrives in many arid and tropical ares in Australia. Most or our first cross lambs exhibit some of these traits. Dorpers and dorper cross lambs tend to outweigh the commercial competion of other fat lamb breeds which makes them ideal for the fat lamb market. We are currently using White and black faced Suffolk ewes as our main breeding stock for cross lambs and this has resulted in some interesting coloured offspring.

We have 19 first cross Suffolk / Dorper lambs for this year both Ewes and Wethers for sale. We  have 5 pure bred Dorper lambs for this year; 2 ram and 3 ewes on the 21st August we loss one of our Dorper breeding ewes, Rainbow in a freak farm accident.    All our lambs are great for that small holding or as an environmentaly friendly lawn mower.
